That's this issue finally finished. It was a long, uphill struggle which I
hope didn't detract too much from the quality of the mag. This issue is
one of the largest yet (text wise) and as such we had to leave just about
every program off. I may manage to squeeze a little surprise in.
Next ish' should see us back on track with some great articles that are
coming in. It will lean heavily on comms as both myself and Dave Cowling
have just got fax/modems and have been trawling the boards.
We'll also be having a look at the best comms software available and
letting you know how easy they are to set up and use.
I'm seriously think of putting STEN on line. This will initially be on a
part time basis, at weekends. Anyone with a modem will be able to log on
and leave messages, articles etc and also download back issues. We may
even be able to have a help line.
So far we have loads of software to review thanks to Jake Bain, Mike
Goodman and Steve Delaney for the PD stuff and Psygnosis for sending the
Carl Lewis Challenge.
There will be a bumper disc mag review and a look at whether the smaller
libraries are really as good as they say they are.
I'll be having a look at whether the Falcon is as good as it seems to be
or has Atari left it too late when PC prices are plumetting?
The next issue will be available in around two months, ie Novemberish 1992
Hopefully a bit earlier.
Right, see you then!
DAVE
